I am installing an Astrostart remote starter and I can't get the security bypass module to work. Any suggestions

OM-FORD-1

I hooked it up to the green connector, and when the module is pluged in the truck wont start with the key, but when I unplug it it starts fine. Is this the right connector ?

What where the colors of the wires.. there should be four.. ignition,ground,tx and rx..

the colors I hooked upto were GREY/ORANGE - SIGNAL , WHITE/ GREEN - SYNCHRO

WHITE/ GREEN = DATA / RX

GRAY/ORANGE = TX

If you get them backwards iy will not start with the key..theft light flashes fast..reverse them and reprogramm and you should be good to go...
