Compustar 2 way start/alarms

I've used the same brand for some years now, but I'm considering upgrading my existing 2 way remote start/alarm in my own car. I have identical systems in my car and truck, but the convenience of having one remote for 2 vehicles is outweighed by killing the batteries twice as fast--at least for me since I have 3 two way remotes that all go off every time I use either vehicle. After exhaustively researching this forum and the net (there's no way I'll try one of those imported no-name systems on Ebay) I feel that Compustar makes one of the best out there. I know that if you want the finer things in life you gotta pay the freight. What I can't seem to figure out is what model to get. I like the 2WFM900AS as it seems to have the right combo of range and features. The 2WSS-AS has much greater range, but I don't like the idea of a big remote as some here have suggested it has, along with it being more delicate. What I can't seem to find much information on is the 2WFM8000AS. There is absolutely no mention of it on Compustar's website. I only know of it's existence because of posts on this forum. I like that it has owner recognition, but other than that is there any significant difference between that and the 900 model? Is the 8000 model available in the States? Of these three, based on your experienced opinions, which would you install on your own vehicle? Thanks in advance for your views.
