I was wondering by starting my car with the remote starter will it trigger the  Electronic Time & Alarm Control System (ETACS)  OEM Alarm system ?

If this system is present I should be able to lock unlock doors ?  I understand that the power lock is yellow behind the center dash at the relay and the yellow/orange is the power unlock correct ?   wich polarity are those My system has negative outputs for those and should not need relays I think from my research

The system is a 2 way remote starter & Alarm sold at Canadian Tire made by Prostart/Autostart p/n: CT-5460 TW

Thanks I just want to verify that I have all the correct info before I start.

You shouldn't have a problem with the OEM alarm since there is no factory alarm arm/disarm wiring information for the car, but someone correct me if I am wrong.  You have the wire colors right for the door locks and they are negative trigger so you won't need relays.

I'm just worried about the transponder key if they key is not present when the car is started will it not trigger the alarm.  Because the way I figure this system it is designed so you do not hot wire the car.

You will need to use a bypass module so that the car does see a key when it is remote started.  Something like the DEI 556U.

I was afraid of that.  I guess I will have to wait after X-mas to get a transponder and a 3rd key made I want a spare key just in case I ever lock my keys in the car.

Thanks alot for the info.
