Doing what seemed like a very routie remote start and keyless install in a 1998 Bonniville when I could not find a disarm from the drivers door. Upon setting the factory alarm off it will only disarm from the factory remote, neither front door or even the trunk will disarm. I removed the drivers side door panel and their are no wires coming from the lock cylinder. I have located the BCM above the pass side hush panel, it has two lt green wires and neither of them function as a disarm. This all looks like it came from the factory this way or possibly a dealer installed system. Has enyone else seen this and how did you bypass it.

Thanks

Scott

Thanks Craig but this car is different than any other Bonniville ive seen. I was hoping someone here may have run into this same problem.

ran into this problem once before.  The only way I could get the alarm to disarm was putting the key in the ignition and turning it on.  Since I was putting an alarm/start/keyless  would up setting up the factory alarm disarm wire to pulse the ignition for a sec.  Worked fine customer never came back.  By the way this was a dei system with the outboard relay pack.  Hope this helps
