Does anyone know if after the module is programed to the vehicle and working correctly should the red led light on the 457G stay lit solid red all the time and never go out. Everything works fine, remote starter, keyless entry etc but the red light stays on and never noticed before on other vehicles.

I thought that was the case also, but now notice on this specific vehicle that it stays on. Just thought I would throw the question out there to see if I am going crazy or not.

I'm not positive, but isn't it supposed to just come on when the car is running? I know for sure it's out when it's not....

We had a similar problem with one. Seemed to work great for about a week then customer couldn't start the car. We found that there was a weird back feed which kept the 457G active at all times even when car was off.
