just installed this in a an 03 f150 with power locks and anti-theft, used dei 556u bypass, here is my problem at first it was sensing two keys when you would try to start it manually,so the guy who sold me the r/s told me to cut thepink ignition wire. I cut the pink wire and then it works fine put truck back together, then if you started remotely it would run for 10 sec. then shut off. so i let it sit for 1/2 hr and then it works fine again , go out an hour later now it won't start remotely and isn't sensing the key in the bypass or the key in the ignition, so i unplug the antenae on the bypass and it remote starts w/ key in the ignition. Then i plug it back in and works 100% correct again. The antenae is tight right on top of the transponder ring and all connections are soldered. Anyone have a clue? sorry so long. Thanx in advanced.

you might try to hot glue the ring in place. also make sure the the bypass box is switched on and off by the r/s

Toss the 556u and get a Omega IM-4 or a  IB-F1   both wire to wire connections no ring round the collar thing no need for giving up a key.  and much faster and easier to install.

remember to check your RS with the key in the ignition  first to make sure what the problem is  the RS brain or the bypass

"cut the pink ignition wire"?   There is no pink ignition in a 2003 ford f-150 and none on the mars 22 kinda got me wondering after re reading ur post.  You must be  talking bout the bypass?
