I am trying to find the Databus Interface wire on my 04 Durango 4.7 SLT, to use with an interface module for remote start and locks.  The wiring diagrams that I found say "Pin-2 (top row from left) in the Diagnostic plug below dash " but  there is NO wire in Pin 2 in my vehicle.  Also, is there a way to check to see if my D has a Sentry Key?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

If the key head is gray, it has it.

I think the sentry key on the slt was standard.  But if you want to check to see if you have it, it's real easy.  I trust you have the new huge chrysler key with the keyless built into it.  If you turn it over you'll see one or 2 screws take the key apart.  Carefully remove the circuit board. Take the key and try and start the truck with it.  If the truck starts and runs fine then you have no sentry key if it doesn't then you have sentry key.

The easiest way to find out is to look at the option sticker from the car (if new). Or you can simply call any Dodge dealer and ask for service, give them the VIN (from your reg) and they will say yes or no. I found this was easier than guessing and all cars can be decoded from the dealer.

I do miss the gray and black keys for the Chyrsler - made things easy, must be why they changed it...

BTW cntrylvr79, I got a kick out of your signature!!! Good for you...
