I'm install Starter for AUDI A6 2000.  i got the note below from the wiring Diagram. but  I don't get the mean of it.  Can someone please help me with it ? Thank you

NOTE *1 When Installing a REMOTE STARTER, you MUST use BOTH Starter #1 and Starter #2 wires. Both wires must be connected to the STARTER/CRANKING Output wire from the Remote Starter or the vehcile will NOT Remote Start when the Engine is cold.

means that there are 2 starter wires and both must receive the same signal from the remote start unit inorder to start the car. you can isolate them with a relay, wire coming from remote start(starter wire) 85, ground 86, +12v 30, and output to second starter 87, the first starter wire you can directly use the wire coming from the remote start
There are 10 types of people in the world, ones that understand binary and ones that dont.

Well according to the astrochart from canada you don't need 2 starter wire  The BAT = RED    IGN = BLACK   STARTER = RED / BLACK   ACC = BLACK / YELLOW   Those the same color for a Volkswagon
