I recently installed a Clifford Matrix 3.5 alarm on my 94 Z/28, and im not as impressed with it as I orginaly though I would be with it. Anyways, I got everything running alright however, when the car is running the two wires I used still show ground when running even with im not on remote start. I use the purple and blue wire on the 4 wire output on the remote satellite unit. The blue is marked (-) status output and the purple is marked (-) starter output. The reasion I need a wire that's only ground when im running on the remote start is that I have a vats bypass relay, and when the key is in the ignition and the relay is still active it doubles the resistance and trips an Security light. When I remote start no security light, put the key in I get the light, while still running I remove the key and go back to remote start the light goes away. - Thanks in advanced.

Well you will need to hook up your relay a differente way  to make sure you don't get the key resister in series when you enter the key in the ignition switch  check on different RS site you will find some picture
