hi guys,

just looking for a little help, i am fitting a meta tracking system to 2001 bmw m3, the car comes standard with the original bmw alarm system just wondering if anybody has fitted a tracker and tied in with the alarm out put wire or if there is such one.

any location points would be a great help

whcih traking sytem is it can you mail a copy of the install manual to me and i'll see if i can help ya out.

where are you based in ireland.

thanks for the reply,im in dublin myself,i know the tracker wiring all that end is fine but what i need to know is the bmw wire that actually triggers the alarm so as it will than send a feed to the tracker if ya know what i mean.

ok what does the traker need a constant or pulsed pos or neg trigger

i'm also in dublin

its fully adjustable i can set it to positive or negative and even the sensitivty too

not sure what you mean by the sensitivity.

for the tracker what wires do you need to find on the car.

i don't think that we are reading off the same hymn sheet

numerous wires will trigger the original alarm. what you need to do is find the wire that triggers the siren. to do this trigger the alarm and find the siren. find weather it gets a pos or neg trigger and tap in accordingly
