I took my 1992 Subaru SVX w/factory alarm for a professional installation of an AutoPage RS-860LCD alarm. My installer has never worked on a SVX before and is having problems getting the remote start to work properly. It starts fine; it's that when you hop in the car and hit the brake pedal the car won't cut off. He said that my car has a resistor instead of a switch in the brake pedal, thus he can't enable the Step On Brake and Car Cut Off feature. Is this correct? Also, he is having problems finding the wires for the power windows. Can someone post some information so that I can pass it on to my installer tomorrow when he finishes my alarm? I really want to get this installed correctly as my car has been broken into 4 times in the past 6 months. Luckily, the factory alarm has been scaring them away, but it only goes off when they hit the car hard enough to break the glass ($250 a pop!).
Thank you for youe assistance,
Kelly
BTW he is an AutoPage dealer!

What made you decide on the Autopage RS-860LCD? I'm also looking at purchasing this one.
