96 Toyota Avalon, remote start

I have a 96 Toyota Avalon got a remote start but it a wrong remote start for my car can anyone know how to bypass Galaxy 5000 RS W2 manual transmission into automatic I just cannt get my refund off of Ebay (sold as it is no refund) I call Galaxy ask them can I use manual remote start for a automatic transmission he told me no in a rude way so this is my last hope before $179 go to waste I believe someone out there is smart to know how to do this bypass. send me a e-mail @ onelife2enjoy@yahoo.com

I don't think anyone will show you how to do this, it is highly dangerous and is never recommended

To do this safe and proper you should buy a remnote starter specifically designed for manual transmissions

You could definitely use it, but it would have to used as if you had a M/T.  That might be kind of a pain for you since you have an automatic.  You could try sending the parking brake signal to it all the time.  But it would probably need to see activation, door open then door closed and shut off with remote to start the next time.  If putting into ready mode isn't a pain for you though, it's better than losing money on it. And if your next car happens to be a manual, you're all set!! As for switching the unit to work as if it was made for A/T, I don't know.

some of the scytek models have a wire inside that you can cut to make it work for automatic transmissions.
