All of a sudden, neither of my remotes will work with my alarm. The system will not arm or disarm via the remotes. Does anyone have any troubleshooting ideas? The remotes were working perfectly literally 2 hours ago. This is the factory alarm system.

Check the batteries?  If those are new/good then check the fuses in the car.

Batteries are good, and so are fuses. Thats the first thing I checked.

Seriously people, does anybody have any suggestions? I'd really rather not try the paperclip idea I've been reading about for resetting the remotes.

Its the factory installed system. How do you go about re-coding it?

Should be in your owners manual of your car, it probably consists of turning your ignition on and off a number of times and pressing a button which is like most.  If not the factory should have given you an owners manual of the alarm that they installed and it will be in there.
