Looking to install a remote start in a 2002 Infinity G20...
I wanted to just add the remote start to the factory Keyless Entry...
i was already told that I would need a 556U in order to bypass the chip in the keys...
what other advice do you all have as far as installation and configuring the factory keyless? I have installed remote starts and keyless entries in a few other cars, but i used the remotes that the systems came with, how does the remote start get hooked up to start with the factory remotes?
thanks...

Your remote start unit should have a (-) start activation wire. You connect this wire to the lock or unlock wire in the car,so when you hit the button on the remote 2or3 times depending on the brand the car will start.

The only problem with tying the r/s into the factory fob is that in that car the transmitter stops working once the car has been remote started.  Yoiu might be better off getting a unit that can controll the locks, trunk and stuff.
