I am getting it very difficult to get the steering column cover off to gain access to the wires i need to wire a remote start alarm. I have the starter motor wired up at the motor itself. Can someone please tell me if it is ok to wire the on position wire into the fuse board or does it have to go into a relay which in turn supplies the fuseboard with power?

What car is this and NO you must attach these high current wires straight to the ignition wires not at the fuse box. Let us know the year, make and model of the vehicle.
