Has anyone successfully installed this on a 6-speed maxima using the 556u bypass? I need more details please. I have everything connected, but the system is not starting. If anyone has any insight on this, please let me know.
Thanks

Need to bypass the clutch switch.  That and you need an r/s designed for a manual.

That system is not for use in a M/T vehicle.
What do you mean by not starting..is it cranking and not starting, is it not cranking at all, is it starting then dying right away. Need more detail.

This add-on rs actually does work on a Maxima this model. On maxima.org there are a few that have done this, but most have taken it to shops in their area and do not have details.
I've bypassed the clutch with the Neutral safety switch wire connected to the ecu. It sends a negative pulse to the alarm when in neutral, and a positive signal when in gear. This is how everyone has done it on these cars. That part I've gotten.
What I mean by not starting, is that it's not even going through the initial rs cycle. Like the system is not recognizing a rs module there. So it's not basically booting up to prepare it to even start to crank.
I'm kind of at a loss, cause I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting. I've rechecked all the connections numerous times with a voltage meter as well.

What did you hook the activation input on the 561t to?
Its good to see you have tied into the Neutral wire.
