Any suggestions on placement of a 508D prox sensor in a '95 Mustang convertible? Thinking about inside the armrest, but doesn't look like it would fit (plus adjustment would be a pain.) Hollow out the ashtray, maybe?
Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

how about under the shifter trim?  on this car it is essential to get it as low as possible, to minimize falsing

Thanks for the input, but unfortunately, with the manual there's no room in the shifter bezel..

I'd put it below the e-brake handle, but I'm afraid it will interfere. Leaning more and more to under the ashtray door.
