Vehicles battery is getting drained.  Printable Version battery draining, info -- posted image.

Symptom: The vehicles battery is constantly being drained when the vehicle sits for a long period of time.
Cause: The bypass kits ground-out-while-running is receiving a either a constant ground or being pulsed even when the remote starter is not activated.
Situation (a): The remote-starters ground-out-while-running is being used to activate a second ignition relay and is being shared with the bypass kit. Depending on how the relay is wired the ground out while running may bleed current through the coil of the relay to ground and in this case the bypass kit will always receive a constant ground.
Solution (a): Isolate the shared ground-out-while-running wire using 1A diodes or move the high-side of the relays coil to constant power instead of the primary ignition or accessory wire.
Situation (b): Some older remote starters will frequently pulse the ground-out-while-running wire.
Solution (b): A relay will need to be inserted in order to keep the bypass kit from receiving these short pulses.
Recommendations: In any case the ground-out wire should be tested with an ohm-meter to ensure that there is an open circuit from the ground-out-while-running and ground when the remote starter is not active.

Do a parasitic draw test.Hook up a DC ampmeter to the battery.remember it has to be connected in series with the battery let it sit for min. 45 min to put the computers to sleep in your vehicle.Min spec. for draw in no more than 50 milliamps. If not start pulling fuses or disconnecting modules until the circuit or module is isolated.
