Hi I have had a DEI Pyton 660XP installed on my 99 Toyota Tacoma for a few years with NO problems at all. I am now TRYING to install and configure a Pace Edwards tail gate lock. I have hooked the Blue and the WHITE/ Blue wires to the purple and grey wires on the tail gate lock. I have tried cycling thru the menu at 2-9 ( all 5 chirps) and made sure I am set to single pulse at 2-8. I have no response at all from the tailgate lock ever on any setting. I do now have for some reason a 3-sec chirp after the first when I lock the doors ,that was not there before. I installed this myself and have basic knowledge of electronics but am NOT an expert, I got some help here when I was wiring my relays on original install. ANY HELP????

use the lock/unlock wires form alarm, they be in a small plug, a green and blue wire. also goign to use relays for the lock in the tail gate. you dotn need to use any programmable output.

the blue wire is a trunk input the alarm is "seeing" it open that y you got the extra chip whne you arming it, it is telling ay that a door/hood/trunk is open.

YES that is working I am not done but have made the servo work so I am on the (you got me on) the right track. I still have the delay chirp with all unhooked, maybe I need to set the 2-9 back to "defsault"??? how do I do that 2-9 and 2-8 is all I messsed with and 2-8 is just single or double puls right???
