I have 2 scenarios going on with my car.

1st problem:I recently wired an 05 saturn ion with a compustar alarm/remote start.Everything works except the remote start. The remote start only works almost  immediately after i turn off the engine.Any other time when i try to activate the remote start, i can just hear the starter attempting to turn over. There is a clicking sound. The passenger side door pin is broken.I was wondering if that had anything to do with the remote start not working properly?

2nd problem: Yesterday, i tried to program the 2nd keyless enty remote so i resetted the alarm by turning the key over to the accessory position 5 times.I tried to program the remotes at the same time but had no success.Still only one remote works but now i lost the features that had previously been programmed such as shock, window paging, and arm.Basically the only thing that works now is keyless entry.I would like to correct it.Does anyone have any suggestions?any help would GREATLY BE APPRECIATED.Thanks in advance.

to program remotes: turn key from accessory to ignition 5 times slowly, and watch for the parking lights on the dash to blink when it enters program mode. if they don't blink, turn key from acc to ign slowly until they do, wait two sec then hit lock on 1st remote, park lights blink, wait one sec, hit lock on 2nd remote, park lights blink. shut key off and you're done. As far as starter not working, could be a number of things. try remote starting it while sitting in it and see if the security light blinks when its trying to start. If it is, reprogram antitheft bypass. The door pin should have nothing to do with it. Make sure your harness is plugged in tight and all connections are nice and tight. Good luck.

What method are you using to bypass the car's Passlock anti-theft system?
