My '92 Crown Vic has an aftermarket alarm - a Ziebart V5200 or VS200 - can't tell if its an S or a 5.  Its been acting crazy since I had the battery unhooked a few months ago, and now the car will not start at all.  First, it goes into hazards blinking mode, and when I try to turn on the car, it goes totally dead.

I have removed the panel, and I have isolated all the wires.  There is a brain, and then a smaller black box wired to the brain.  There are two grey wires attached to the on/off switch, a black wire and a red wire to the dash light, and two brown wires that are attached to a button (in the past, I held down this button and turned the key in the ignition and was able to start the car - this no longer works).

All of these wires are connected to two harnesses that are hooked onto the brain..  However, there are some other wires attached to the harnesses as well.  A blue wire ran up to the steering column, where another wire was exposed and the blue wire wrapped around it.  A white wire is attached to the floor light bulb.  A pink wire feeds into a larger wrapped wire, which appears to eventually feed back into the steering column.  Another red and brown wire feed out of the harness into the small black box.  And from the black box, a black wire is wrapped around the screw on the fuse box.  Finally, there are some lage wires that hook into the brain, but are not harnesses.

Anyway, I have tried various things to get it going.  First, I just disconnect the harnesses, but the car still won't start.  I disconnected the blue wire, but it won't start.  I disconnected the black wire attached to the fuse box, but it won't start.  I mean, I can see the wires that appear to be most important to the alarm, but I don't want to cut anything without being sure.

Does anyone have experience with this sort of system?  I know its probably hard with no visual, but I figured it was worth a shot.

If you just want to Start the car:
Look for WHITE / Pink wire @ Ignition Switch Harness.  If it has been cut & a Relay ( Starter Kill ) installed............Just splice the wire back together.
Usually, you should be able to turn Ignition Key ON.
Press & Hold Valet Switch for approx 2 seconds & it should allow you to operate Keyless & Start car without the Alarm
