Has anyone ever dealt with a port installed remote start? I'm trying to program two new remotes. It is an audiovox 3 button. I can get unlock and lock to program, but I am having trouble getting the remote start to. The unit has the valet switch that is also the led, and the on/off switch for the remote to be off or on. The remote programming has 6 channels but I can not get it to go. Anyone have on insight? Thanks

What is the model number of the audiovox piece? What do you mean by "Port installed remote start", are you referencing the telematics port?

The model on the board is APS603. It has the main alarm unit then a seperate remote start piece. I don't know the model number of it. By Port install I'm talking about when the cars first come in from overseas on the ships, There are places at the ports where they add options to certain cars before they have a chance to reach the dealerships. I'm not sure how many companies still do this, I know the mercedes does some pre-wiring at the ports for satalite radio. (ps, ingore the spelling)
