My friend just got a Viper 791XV installed from Best Buy into his 96 Civic ex coupe. It's a manual tranny so they wouldn't hook up the remote start. How do I do this? I've already connected the brake signal wire (to the green with white stripe wire near the brake switce) and the Tach signal wire (to the blue wire by the cluster). I know how to bypass the clutch safety and I'll do it once I know it works. But I'm kinda lost from there.
And before you guys go on about how dumb of an idea it is to put remote start on a manual tranny car keep in mind that it's not my car and I've already tried to discourage the owner. Best Buy hooked up the majority of the wires already and from what I can tell it's been done pretty straight forward. I know it'll void the warranty on it but from what I can tell there's no way they'd ever know. I have installed regular alarms before so I am familiar with most of the wires but this is my first time with a remote start system. A little help with the wiring would be appreciated.
Pictures and descriptions of issues below:
Picture 1 - Main "brain"

Issues with picture 1:
1) Involves top second to left harness (main harness).not sure where the "WHITE/ blue (-) activation input" wire connects to. I suspect that it connects to the "blue (-) status output" wire on the Relay Satellite (pic two).
2) involves bottom left harness. not sure what is needed to be done(bypass) with the "BLACK/ white neutral safety input" wire and the "grey (-) hoodpin shutdown input" and the "blue/white (-) 200mA 2nd status/defogger" wire.

Issues with picture 2 (involves harness on the top left of module):
1) same as issue 1 for picture 1. I think the "blue (-) satus output" goes to the "WHITE/ blue (-) activation input" in picture one.
2) not sure if the "purple (-) 200mA starter output" wire should be connected to the "Purple starter side starter wire" (bottom harness in pic).
3) I'm sure that the Orange and Pink wire in this harness can be omitted. Can anyone confirm this?

Since you have the manual, you can read right in the directions it is not intended for a manual. There are no safety features built into the unit for operations in a manual trans. I would not hook up the remote start portion of the system.
