Does anyone know why the accesory wire in the first diagram is RED / Black and on the second diagram this wire is the ignition 3. I hooked up my accesory wire to the BLACK/ light Green wire like it said in the second diagram. Also, I believe I tapped into the right tach wire because the LED did lit up when learning the code.

Did you use a bypass module for the pats system?  Is the theft light in the gauge cluster flashing rapidly when you try remote starting the truck?  If it is then there's something wrong with oyur bypass module.

The RED / BLACK is an ACC wire. Just make sure you attach all the IGN & ACC wires otherwise the Ford's will not crank. As stated above make sure you test to make sure that your bypass module is infact working properly too.

Hey guys sorry for not getting back in to the forum as quick as you guys did.  No I did not add a bypass module for the PATS system so I did as you guys told me with the key in the ignition and guess what? It started !  I will buy the bypass moudule but the question is where? do I need to buy a DEI product or can it be another aftermarket module.?  Also, will I have to hook it underneath the steering column? if so, where is the air bag sensor so I don't accidentally trip it.

You can get pretty much any brand bypass. Just make sure it's for your truck.  As for where to get one.  If you want to get it locally any car audio shop, or best butt I mean buy will have it.  Or you could buy online.  Online will more than likely be cheaper, but you'll have to wait from it.  It does hook up under the steering column.  I wouldn't worry about tripping the airbag, just don't cut into any wires in yellow loom or with yellow tape on them.

Thanks a bunch for your help man, you are a life saver.  Thanks also for the tip on BB and the humor with it.  I'll try to get it from there over the weekend and install it right away.  I really hate to have to go out to the driveway in the mornings to start the truck for warm up and having to leave it unlocked and unattended while I finish getting ready.
