Hey everyone.  I am new to the site, but have been checking it out for several hours and love it so far.  Anyhow, I have done several searches, and could not find the info i am in need of, so here goes.  I have a 1999 Chevy S-10 (4 cyl. 2.2L, 5-speed) and am putting the Viper 550ESP (remote start, keyless, alarm) in it.  However, I have ran into a problem.  The remote start will start the engine, and then it immediately dies.  I realize that this is because of the PASSlock system on the vehicle, but i cannot find a diagram or instructions on how to bypass it.  This is in part due to the fact that i do not know which version of PASSlock is used in this vehicle.  Any insight would be very helpful!  Thanks for your time!

you will need to buy a 555L to bypass the Passlock system on this vehicle.  Good luck

I agree with 10nesne1 , purchasing a bypass module will be more beneficial to install for a beginner than trying to make your own bypass module. If the home made one ever fails you because of an installer error your stuck whereever you are until you reattach the wires . Most Passlock systems are cheap now , about $ 20 - 40 depending on where you buy them.
