working on a caddy ext, was wondering if any one would know how to use the factor seek scan volume up volume down switches on the steering wheel to control anything else ... any imput will greatly appreciated

Companies like Pheripheral and Soundgate make modules to convert these into infra-red signals for aftermarket decks with wireless remotes. I prefer the Soundgate one. It allows you to keep using the steering wheel controls after you have changed out the factory deck.
