My Neice has an 06 Fusion, and the dealer pre-installed an aftermarket ignition kill.
In addition to the factory PATS key, you must press the II button on the extra fob before it will start. (it will crank, but not start)
We want to remove this "feature" so she just uses the factory key, but for the life of me I can't find the control box.???
Is it *possible* that DEI makes a fob that talks directly to the factory system ?   The keyfob is a 2 button unit, that has a I and II button. it says "Stealth" on it, but it looks EXACTLY like an Automate remote. The FCC ID bears out that it is indeed a DEI product.
any insight will be appreciated.
thanks
