I have a problem with a Mopar EVS-I alarm I had added to my 2006 Dodge Magnum by the dealer when I purchased my car.  Periodically the alarm will sound when I open a door, even though I have disarmed the system (lights flash and doors unlock).  The dealership has replaced the module twice, but I am still experiencing the same problem.  At this point, my dealership does not seem to know what to do other than removing the system and refunding my money.  I am open to this as well, however I do not want to add another remote to my key chain.  Are there any quality security systems that will work with the Dodge remote?

make sure it is set to unlock driver door first then hit unlock a 2nd time to unlock the rest. thsi has to be that way and no way around it with the EVS system. not sure if you can do it or the dealer ship has to unlike the jeep cheroke were the person can change settiogn though the dash settings. dam coustmors kept changing to unlock ALL doors then coem back sayiign alarm is not working.
you can always ahve them program the GRAY keys to the system and deleat the other with remote built in to the key then can have any alarm system you want.
