Hello,

I bought a used, 96 Mustang GT fitted with an aftermarket Audiovox  PRO-9344. Thanks to someone on this website, I learned that to operate it I need an Audiovox (and not a Ford) remote. A replacement remote arrived today and it seems to interact with the alarm as it should, but whenever I set the alarm off it doesn't make a loud noise - more a pathetic "click"...? Like the sound you hear when operating the turn signals.

The horn on the car is fine - when I press the "lock" button on the Ford remote twice the horn sounds once (and the lights flash - and of course the doors lock).

How can I make the alarm louder...?

Thanks,

Richard

do u have a siren? may have to check the ground on the alarm brain. test the siren out also but puttign the sire wire to the battery so if it loud if not the siren is bad.

how do I know if I have a siren...? Whereabouts would it be situated in the car...?

Also what's the "alarm brain" and whereabouts is that...?

Thanks,

Richard
