directechs do not give enough info on factory alarm disarm, and door open alert. i know you kneed both with the unlock and diodes to wake up GEM module. can you bypass this by going with domelight sec, and double pulse ulock to wake up the GEM module? because there is only three ways to wake it up. with factory remote, open door, or alarm disarm wire. i noticed that when you open the door from the inside the domelight comes on before you open the door.

Sometimes pulsing the ignition will wake up the gem module.

yeah i always pulse the ignition with a relay (Activated by alarm disarm) then double pulse unlock. it wont wake by the first pulse the second one will unlock the doors. much easier. I use to do it dei's way im sure they tell you to do it that way for a reason, but i yet to have any issues doing it this way.

hey thanks guys but i figured it out. you can also trigger the door trigger with the alarm disarm wire, and turn the unlock to double pulse and then program the unlock to a longer period. i think it was 3.5 or something like that. i cant remember right now i had too many tall cans.
