Hello everyone,  maybe someone can guide me...

I just purchased a 2006 CA 670 Elite Code Alarm, and i wish to instal it on my 1996 Ford F-150.My truck has 4.9-6 cyl, 5-speed, A/C, No cruise, No electric windows, No auto door locks, stock radio. I purchased this alarm because of the 2-way remote. I don't want to hook up the remote start, or door locks, or electric windows, and I don't care about a shock sensor hook up either.

I just want to be aware when someone opens the hood, or either door, I want the marker lights to flash when armed or disarmed, and the horn to beep if it's possible too.

I want the trucks horn, and the supplied siren, and the headlights to do their thing when the alarm is tripped.

I also plan on installing a momentarty kill switch, unless this unit has one, and works as designed.

I have read up on the kill switch relays on this site, and would rather use the best approach available.

I'm an aircraft mechanic, and have installed avionics in many aircraft... but, I always have the install manual in front of me.

The install manual that came with the alarm doesn't explain what must be hooked up, and what can be deleted , while still being functional in the configuration I wish to use.

I have the wiring diagram for the truck, and the alarm.... just looking for some expert advice and maybe some actual proven shortcuts.

Thank you, John Frullo

12v batt., 12v switched, and ground are the only wires that are mandatory every thing left is up to you

by the way it would cost like $50 to have that installed Professionally.

bring back the rotary phone so i dont have to press 1 to proceed in english
