adding 561t to matrix 10.5x

hey guys, i got everything hooked up. the remote start works fine. Its just that im not getting the engine running confirmation(the little engine pic) on the two way. do i have to program the matrix unit? menu 3 feature 5? not sure on the amount of led flashes. in menu 3 feature 5, it falshes up to 7 times. is that the remote start report feature? i also have the 556u bypass. its on a 2003 sentra. any help, info greatly appreciated. that is just an alarm. you need to have the 3.5 for the exhaust symbol to light up on the remote. IT should flash the channel that you hooked the remote start to.

I am gonna assume that you live in hawaii. If so go to elite electronics by Ala Moana (across the street from Walmart) They helped me program the vibration alert to the 10.5X (by using the bitwriter). If not try to get a hold of the bitwriter.

The newer system has remote start report as you already know. Its menu 3 feature 5. Press the unlock button 6 times. You will hear a total of 7 chirp. I dont have the LCD version, but the LED one (viper 3000). I didnt have to change it to this feature for the LED to blink indicating that it remote start (or for the antigrind to work). Mine worked automatically. But go ahead and switch it over to remote start report and tell me how it goes.

thanks captn, but when i attemted to do that, it shut the car off. it starts sends no report, and cuts out immediatley. the 561t unit says transimitter shut down, led flashes 4 times. does it mean i was in validity? ill continue to try the menu feature thing let you guys know. good guess, hawaii ohau. iv been to elite electronics by wal mart/alamoana. but i live waianae. im sure you know how far that is. :) the matrix 10.5 has the engine symbol, not the exhaust, like 3.5rsx once again thanks for everyones help

ok guys its running when in menu 3 feature 5 ,7 chirps 7 led flashes. but no report? did i miss a wire? i f so what wire would cause this? from the matrix? the 556u bypass? the 56t1 valet.? thanks
