How to Clutch Bypass on 1998 Eclipse?

I installed a Compustar CM3000/2W900fmr manual edition on my 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse manual. I got everything working but the remote start. My problem is I dont know how to go about wiring a relay to bypass the clutch. I know my clutch has two wires coming off it ones blue. I read that i can use the extra 2nd ignition relay to make a clutch bypass relay. I just dont know which wires to cut/tap into on the clutch and how exactly its wired to the relay and alarm, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike

easy way is unplug the clutch switch the proper way is to cut one of the wires on the clutch switch, run on side to terminal 87a, the other to terminal 30, terminal 85 goes to 12V and 86 will go to the RED / black (-) starter output. Don't use the second ignition relay, if anything use the antigrind/starter kit relay, it's already set up in the above configuration.Shaughn Murley

Except on a mitsubishi when you depress the clutch it breaks the loop. easily tested by unplugging the clutch swith and trying to start the car without depressing the clutch.Shaughn Murley

I tried unplugging the double clutch wire to see if it would start with out the clutch and that caused me to lose all ignition power. So I plugged it back in and the only way it starts our gets power to everything in the car is if i jump start it. Any ideas what happen. i checked all the fuses on the alarm and on the car. They are all still good.

never mind about that, My positive battery terminal was dirty, it works now. I just unplugged the clutch wire for now since it lets it start with out the clutch in. I'll go buy a relay today and try wiring it up like you guys said. Thanks for the help.

Be safe man.....The cost of a relay dosn't come close to the cost of running someone, or something over!
