Has anyone had any problems with the Grimestopper or autopage GMSL Bypass module. Or any comments.

Thanks

I have never had any trouble with these modules. They cover alot of vehicles. I get mine from Crimestopper and install thier remote starters.

I also use the crimestopper GMSL, and I never have problem whit this module compare to some other on the market.  What do you want to know about the driver 1 et driver 2.  When you unlock witht the white wire, the driver 1 preset will be ajust.  So if you use the Driver 1 preset, put a gnd on the white wire, and use a axiliary for the driver 2 wire.

I was told from a local dealer that he stopped using the GMDL and went to bypaskit.com because when the vehicle lost power you would loos the program. But everyone one here says the same about the bypasskit.com brand GMDL-BP. What is your experience with it? I have contacted bypasskit.com they said that the GMDL-BP unlocks and goes to driver #1 as a default and can't be changed. I have a Audiovox APS996a that has option 6 & 7 output that will trigger with the unlock button. I can hard wire into the door with a relay to the switches no problem but if the signal from the APS996a unlock and output 6 or 7 trigger at the same time the GMDL-BP will set it to driver #1 and the relay might not work then. I also have found online some of the DEI455G doorlock modules that will just do the door lock and the I would do the relay. Any toughts I hear so much conflicting information and I don't feel like buy module after module trying to get what I want. Thanks

The GM SL does'nt lost their programation, it was the GMDAA who do that but crimesstopper resolve the brobleme in the GM SL version.  The bypass also do the parking light and it is very smart to use.  I know that the GMDL-BP lost is memory after loosing the power.   Personnaly I recommand you to use a GM SL and you will not have any probleme with it.
