Do I need to power up the keysense wire for a viper 560. If so what wire do I need to hookup from the viper system to the car. I believe it is a (+) trigger. Do I need a relay?

You only need to power keysense if it has the Intelligent Key. Regular key; no need.
The WHITE/ blue second-accessory wire just turns on the radio and does NOT need to be powered up........so you could just put the Viper's pink/white Ignition 2 output to the car's keysense wire.

Most of the time it is not needed. I rarely power it up . On some trim models it controls something that is needed. It has been a while, but I think it is the electronic climate controls, or maybe something related to the AC. I had to go back and add a relay for it once.

Jworm,
If memory serves, I think the climate controls will operate without the blue/white powered, but they don't light up, and you can't change the settings until the key is turned on.......it normally wouldn't be a problem, but I could see where the customer would have a concern about it.
drew215,
Your customer should know. It's an extra-cost feature that's so cool, I'm sure the customer would talk about it all afternoon if given the chance.
Basically, it's a special keyless remote, and all you have to do is keep it in your pants or pocketbook..............walk up to the car with it in your pocket, press a little button on the door handle and the doors unlock..........get in, sit down, and turn the ignition switch with NO key and the car starts.
It's not a common option for the Murano, but a few of them have it.

so if they do have the intelligent key, Do you still need to use his factory key with a 556u?

Yes. The car comes brand-new with two Intelligent keys, and one valet key. You can pland either one of those inside the 556U, but obviously the valet key is going to be less expensive.
If you do a search either here, or at the carsound.com security forum, for the Infiniti FX35/FX45, you should be able to find more information.

You should really power the keysense (on intelligent key models) with a timer relay for during and only a few seconds after crank. If you use ign2, then anyone can come in and twist the key cylinder without an authorized key nearby and take the car. If you use the timer, then you cant take over and turn the cylinder unless you have a smart key. I do a ton of FX and muranos and that is the only safe way to go.
