Hi,

I have a couple problems with my compustar wss-as. I got the unit installed today. The alarm does not lock/unlock my doors when arming/disarming. My door locks are good because the factory keyless entry still works. Also, my alarm keeps going off and it shows that a door is open when there is not. I'm really frustrated as I sat for 4 and a half hours during the install process. I tried looking in the download section but not sure if I was looking at the correct diagram. It was labeled compustar 2000? Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

I'd go crazy waiting around for 4 1/2 hours! On the rare occasion I hire someone else to work on my car, I usually just drop it off and get out of there.
Anyway, it sounds like the shop made a couple of mistakes during the install, and they should have tested out the system before the car left the shop..........but hopefully they stand behind their work, and if you give them a call, they should gladly fix it for you.

I agree, bring it back to the shop. Anything that you might do to the system may void any type of warranty that you have with the shop.

I am bringing it back to the shop today. Is there any explicit install info for the compustar 2wss-as online? The installer did mention the instructions were vague.
