Just finished putting a simple Black Widow alarm ( no remote start) into a 1990 Lexus LS-400 and the airbag light is now on. Any ideas?

Anychance you may have moved the air bag wiring while doing the parking light? That's only thing that come to my mind.
"Parking Lights+ green      steering column
Notes: in a black plug on the right side of the steering column near the yellow air bag wiring.

Were you aware of it prior to the installation? Happens often, but I do still ask my guys.
-Using a test light you polk at a wire you shouldn't have without noticing it was some sort of SRS wire.
-Yellow loom and plug. You inadvertanley disconnected it by unplugging so it's easilier to make your connection to the alarm installation.
Many more, but looking at the number of posts you have made here. I doubt it, but any chance you have made the above mistake?
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.1990 LS-400 airbag light -- posted image.

You didn't pull the instrument cluster to mount the brain up high and out of reach did you?

Took off the instrument cluster shroud but not any of the actual gauges. Why?
