Usually when using the automatic start, the radio would never power on until the key was in the ignition and the brake touched. I noticed the other day, that the radio now comes on when using the automatic start. Is there a way to correct this? Maybe just disconnecting the battery? I'm sure its not a big deal, but sometimes I leave my system turned up. Thanks in advance.

Sorry for leaving that information out. It is a 1989 Mercury Cougar with an automatic transmission. I cleaned the battery terminals today, but have yet to start it with the remote to see if that helped.
