Hey Guys I am new here and I have a problem with an install I just did.  I installed an Autopage RS-620 remote start/keyless entry with a GM-SL interface module on a 2003 chevy silverado.  Everything works fine with the remote start and keyless entry, but now when I start the truck with the key the securtiy light stays on.  If I use the remote starter it does not come on only with the key.  There is a note on the directions for the GM-SL that says to cut an ignition wire and hook up a couple more wires if the Security light stays on with the key in the on position, but it also says "for Cadillac models only" so I have not done that.  What do I need to do to fix this problem?

Also I was wondering about being able to use the Driver 2 memory with another remote? I am going to be installing the same system in a 2004 Grand Am sometime soon and I thought it would be nice if when I use the second vehicle option from that system it activated the Driver 2 settings. I see there is an input for it on the GM-SL but I don't know what to hook to it to make it work or if it can even be made to work.

Well nevermind on the first question.  I unhooked the battery for about 10-15 minutes and when I hooked it back up the security light problem is now gone.
