530t window module purple ground wires

ive installed 530t window roll down modules many times before and i never thought to ask....

Does it matter if ....

1.  you ground your two purple wires in the same place as the black wire?

2.  you ground the black wire and just combine the "prpl/blk", "prpl", and "blk" wire 2 or 3 inches away from the 530t module?

No and no.  I've done both on every 530t I've installed.  Never had a problem.

Just try not to ground it in the door, for that matter don't isntall the module in the door either. It is not waterproof by any means.
