i have a question for the experts on this form....on the 1999 Dodge Intrepid Security Information it says 2.7K Ohm Lock /620 Ohm Unlock One Wire see notes . do they need to be exactly those size resisters or would 1.5K Ohm Lock/250 Ohm Unlock work?
also what color and how many pin is that WHITE/ dark green wire located, and does both resisters connect to the same wire?

please help this beginner installer..thx

No, you have to be within 5% of the resistance called for to work properly, So you can use between a 2.56K -2.83K to Lock and between a 589 Ohm and a 651 Ohm to Unlock. Yes, they connect to the same wire. Its what they call a MULTIPLEXED circuit. (two or more different signals running through the same wire) White w/Dark Green, Pin 5 of the Blue C4 connector behind the fuse box. If the vehicle has a factory alarm, in Pin 13 of the Blue C4 connector there is a Light Green w/ Orange wire you will need to tap into to turn off the factory system, you will need a 900 Ohm resister(or within 5%) in-line to work.
