I have a 1999 f150 no factory alarm

ok , this is my first time installing a remote start, im new :) got every thing working in my truck,  the only thing is that the truck cranks up but does not turn on.

then i put my key in to the ingition but dont turn it and push the remote start button on and the truck stays on.

what am i supposed to do. the only wire i have not connected is the factory disarm wire which is drk GREEN/ purple because i can not find it. but does that wire matter.

do i need anything else. Please help i started my project last week and still dont know what to do.

You need a bypass module for the 1999 F150 trucks.Use the PKF1 for bypassing the PATS and you only need ONE key to program this module.

you can also make a copy of your key then break open your original key, there's a little chip inside. put that near the steering wheel and the car will start. or you can put the whole key under the steering wheel and it will start. but the bypass is the best thing to get.
