Hi; I need som help with a remote-set I bought at ebay.com. I have tried to follow wiring diagram number three, but I didn get it right.

The car is a Golf 1998 modell with orginal sentral lock system, but without remote controll. I hope someone can help me!

Looking at the diagrams you give you should be using diagram #1. The 1998 Golf has postive pulse locks according to DEI,

Power Lock	yellow/red or gray	+	driver door harness in kick
Power Unlock	RED / black or grn	+	driver door harness in kick

This means that yellow/black and yellow should go to 12volts, WHITE/ black to RED / black or green, white to yellow/red or gray. ORANGE / black and orange just tape off and not use...
