What exactly are you trying to do?  What wires are you looking for?  What do you want to hook up?  Let me know and I will try to direct you to what you need to do.

thank you!! installing remote start/keyless/alarm on existing (factory anti theft)99 vw jetta 2.0 I cant locate the ignition switch harness or any wires that lokk like it so i was focusing on the existig alarm Id like to know where the starter and ign. wire are? If i should put the kill wire and auto start wires before or after the existing alarm? the unlock pulse should disarm it(factory)right? How do i hook up the second pulse for the passenger doors(relay?)?Is there a way to make the windows roll up/down from remote? Is there a better or faster way than relay?Any suggesstions?

    Thank You,   Greenhorn

Here are the wires you may need.  The ignition harness should be high up underneath the drivers dash.  You should put the starter kill relay before the remote start output ( it should go key, starter kill, remote start output, then starter motor).  You will need an alarm that is capable of doing a double pulse unlock ( this should be done in programming mode for the features of the alarm) to unlock the doors.  If you need any help with programming post the brand and model of the alarm and someone should be able to help with that.  Both doors will unlock with the vehicles unlock wire, the only time you need a relay is if you want to do a progressive unlock( drivers then passengers).   As for the windows, can you use the key on the outside lock cylinder and hold it at unlock and will the window roll down?  Post the answer to this and I will tell you what to do about the windows.  If you have any other questions post and will try to answer.

My alarm came with 2 diods are those probably the ones?Yes, the key when held either way for a couple seconds rolls up or down depending on the way.
