I'm trying to install a remote starter into an 01 GMC Sierra 2500HD with a Duramax engine trouble is I have no Idea what wires behind the instrument cluster are for the tach and wait to start hookup. Any help you can give me would be great. Thanks

on the wait to start I have been using a 528t  pulse timer from what I have heard its not a good idea to tie directly into the wait to start light in the dash.

Use a unit that can do a timed WTS..... set it for 10sec or so.
Most of the Duramaxes I have seen have very little WTS times due to them using low voltage glowplugs.
Wherever I go, that is where I end up......
