I have a gmc savanna and i have installed the magicar-700 alarm. The alarm part of the system works but i am having a very hard time getting the remote start to work. The remote start will crack and it starts to fire but when the engine is just about to start the remote start fails. I have switched the tach sensor to altanator and it still does the same thing. I have herd that a car with a factory alarm you will need a bypass but to my knolage it don't have a factory alarm. Does anybody my have a clue what would be going on.
Thank You

That's would be the factory antitheft system.  What year is the truck?  Depending on the year you will have to get a module to bypass the passlock system to allow the remote start to work properly.

it is a 03 i resurched the passlock system and looked at a cupple diagrams and the alarm came with a relay where i cut the one wire and connect that to the relay and splice into another wire. I am almost certin that the colors where the same. But i do know on the one wire i have one of the wires from the main alarm box that where part of the remote start on that wire to i am not sure about the yeloow one.

Ok The relay goes onto the star wire and the on wire you splice onto the on and cut and run the star off the relay. Is that buypassing the passlock system
