Did a search and found some info, but didn't answer the question I have.

I have a 2001 intrepid that I just had a remote start installed (Pursuit PRO-8275T).  The car also has the factory alarm.  After the install the new keyfob lock does not arm the alarm.  There is a flashing light on the dash normally and now it doesn't come on.  I can still arm it using the lock button on the original keyfob and it disarms when I use the new one to unlock.

From what I read in a couple threads about wiring it appears that it should be wired up where the new keyfob lock unlock does enable/disable the factory alarm, I just would like to confirm this before I take it back.

If your Pursuit is also an alarm it is really not neccessary. If you Pursuit is a remote start keyless with-out alarm you should take it back and have them interface with you cars Factory arm -- disarm wire.    Light GREEN/ orange wire   positive pulse thru 1.87k Ohm resistor will arm      -----  680 Ohm positive pulse on same wire will disarm
