Might be doing one of these soon. Power lock/unlock and alarm arm/disarm use different wires, but utilize 1000 ohm resistors. Directwire says I must use relays. Can I use the same relays, and just diode isolate the wires from each other, so I dont have to have 4 relays? I assume I can use a 551M or similar for the relays?
Also, as far as transponder bypass kits. Use a spare key with a 556U, or is there a better solution these days?

Best solution for me is usually the one that gets the job done. 556U will do the job unless you don't want to use the spare key. You can take a look at the bypasskit web site. There you will find transponder that you can used without the need of your spare keys .

This diagram here will explain all that is require for the doorlocks.

And that diagram will take care of the OEM alarm as well without any additional connections? All I saw was that it takes care of the door locks.

@ KEYLESS MODULE, BELOW STEERING COLUMN
Factory Alarm Arm lt. green   -   keyless module below column
Notes: Arm is negative trigger thru a 1,000 ohm resistor. Disarm is a straight negative trigger. MUST use relays.
Factory Alarm Disarm same wire as alarm arm
Disarm No Unlock use key sense wire

well, then I'll ask the same question I started with.
Can I use the same set of relays, and just diode isolate the door lock wire from the OEM alarm wire.
