So my old remote still works but it's been dropped so many times I bought a replacement remote on ebay.  I have been following the instructions on the back of the blister pack, but it's not working.  With the driver door open and the ignition turned to on, I press the valet button once, then once more and hold it down.  From my understanding the LED is supposed to blink once, but it's not blinking at all and the alarm is not making any sounds.  I have tried pressing it from once to 11 and 12 times, but it's still not responding with a chirp or a blinking of the LED.  Am I doing something wrong?  Is it doing this because the old remote is still active and programmed to the alarm?  I have tested the valet button by putting my truck into valet mode, and it does it successfully, so I know the valet button is hooked up correctly.  I have heard it could be a bad antenna, or that I can unhook the antenna and hook it back up...but I have no clue where this antenna is.  Any help?

Sounds like you are trying to do it right. Is the alarm in valet mode? The led will be on soild (when the ignition is off) if you are in valet mode. I don't think you can program a remote when you are in valet mode.
Also, after you turn the ignition ON I think you have to start pressing the valet button fairly quickly. Don't wait more than a couple seconds.
The antenna should be stuck to the front windshield.
