hi, I've been having a problem with this alarm I just installed Code Alarm CA670. I have the wire color and location list for my car and I have the manual for installing the alarm. I think I have everything hooked up right but the remote start is not working. all other functions work so far. when I push the start button on the one way remote "the red snowflake" the parking lights flash several times and I can hear relays inside the unit clicking but it does not turn on my accessories nor does it attempt to crank the motor. I guess what I need to know is if someone could look over the wire diagrams and install manual and tell me what wire goes where. I only need to know what to do with the wires that are part of the remote start function. all the rest I will or have figured out. thank you in advance this site has been alot of help in the past and I'm glad to be here among the pro's

couldn't find the procedure for learning the tach in the owners manual or install manual...probably wasn't looking in the right place. I have the car warming up right now but still don't know how to learn the tach signal. I have the tach wire hooked to the white wire on the middle cluster connection.
listing connections as from unit harness to car connection
purple white tach - white center cluster wire
Red powerwire - white constant 12v key cylinder
Orange accessory 1 - blue accessory
ORANGE / white accessory 2 - BLACK/ white ignition 1
Pink/white Ignition 2 output - blue/black ignition 2
BROWN / Red brake input/shutdown - Green at brake pedal
Gray/black parking brake - hooked into E-brake wire
I think I have it all hooked up right...I just probably need to learn the tach. could you post that process if you know it by chance. I have the car warming up because I have read that it is best to have the car running for about 10 minutes before you learn the tach.

well I found the tach learn procedure and I tried it. I guess the wire I chose is not the tach wire. when I press the start button the parking lights flash 7 times and the siren beeps along with the lights.

anyone know where the tach wire is in a 95 eclipse or talon non turbo, 420a motor. I have tried at the ecu both a blue and red wire "the only one of that color there, and a white wire...the only solid white wire located there". I'm lost here. and I can't figure out how to set the alarm to tachless mode. I'm really getting frustrated.

*4 The PCM is located on the drivers side of the engine compartment or behind the center of the dash depending on motor.
can also go to the coil under hood, dotn have wire color so have to test with a meter
